Short-Term Fellowships
The IRTG regularly offers short-term PhD fellowships of 4 to 6 months to talented researchers from outside the CRC. These fellowships allow early career scientists to visit the CRC, participate in its cutting-edge research, and contribute to it and its international network.
The fellowships come with a € 1.365 living allowance plus a € 103 allowance for material cost per month, in order to support the fellowship holders stay at one of the universities of the CRC.
Application
If you are interested in visiting the CRC for some time and having the opportunity to work with some of its members and PhD students, keep an eye on the 'Open calls' page for the current round of applications.
In any case, the first step is always to get in touch with a senior researcher within the CRC with whom you are interested to work with to discuss possible ideas for research questions. If that PI supports your project, you can apply following the process described in the fellowship call on the 'Open calls' page.
After the deadline of the call has passed, the Early Career Committe will select the fellowship recipients and let you know of the outcome as soon as possible.
