First workshop “Women in Port-Hamiltonian Systems”
The workshop “Women in Port-Hamiltonian Systems” took place from March 12 to 13, 2026. The aim of the workshop was to provide a platform for female researchers to present their work and findings, to facilitate new contacts and collaborations, and to promote an inclusive culture of mutual support and shared growth within the research community.
A highlight of the workshop “Women in Port-Hamiltonian Systems” was the opening of the exhibition “WOMEN OF MATHEMATICS FROM AROUND THE WORLD – A gallery of portraits” together with the sister exhibition “Women of the CRC 1701”. Both exhibitions feature women mathematicians. While the first is already established, the sister exhibition focuses on the women mathematicians of CRC 1701.
