First workshop of the IRTG was a great success
The 1st Annual IRTG (Integrated Research Training Group) Workshop, organized by the PhD students of the CRC, took place at the CVJM-Bildungsstätte Bundeshöhe in Wuppertal from November 3-5, 2025. The three days event included poster presentations of the PhD students and postdocs of the CRC, each with their unique research topic and enthusiasm. As special guests, Dr. Marvin Geyik from d-fine, gave a talk on non-academic career planning with insights from a professional/corporate job experience, Dr. Sven Karbach from the University of Amsterdam focused in his talk on the life in academia and what to expect as PhD students and as postdocs, and Dr. Frederico Califano from University of Twente, gave a talk on the physical intuition behind port-Hamiltonian systems.
