7th workshop of the doctoral college “Port-Hamilton Systems: Modeling, Numerics, and Control” in Wuppertal
The 7th workshop of the doctoral college “Port-Hamilton Systems: Modeling, Numerics, and Control", took place from March 10 to 12, 2026, at the University of Wuppertal. Fifty-five doctoral students, postdocs, advanced master’s students, and experienced researchers from the fields of engineering and applied mathematics discussed current topics related to Port-Hamilton systems, and the event provided an excellent platform for learning and networking.
A special highlight was the excursion to the art exhibition “effort + flow – Mathematics and Art in Exchange”. Hans Zwart (University of Twente) gave an unforgettable blackboard lecture there.
