At the 2025 #GirlsDay, Bouchra Elghazi, a member of the Integrated Research Training Group of the CRC 1701, explained the basic idea behind her mathematical research with a pen - by balancing it on her palm and talking about dynamical systems and controls in a very illustrative way. The audience enjoyed her lively presentation and were encouraged by the remarks about studying mathematics. Likewise, they enthusiastically took part in junior professor Jochen Glück's interactive explanation of Gauss summation via triangles (of numbers). Additionally, the 15 students from different schools had a conversation about studying / a career in mathematics with professor Birgit Jacob.
